Dads House
Dads House offers free cooking classes for single dads and their kids, making cooking fun and tasty.
The creator of Dads House is William Mcgranaghan, the Founder and Chief Executive Of Dadshouse - a charity set up to help single dads in the practicalities of raising their children and they have launched cooking classes for dads and their kids. Supported by Andy Hamilton of Drop The Dead Donkey and Outnumbered (who launched Dadshouse football). Dadshouse also provides life coaching.
Dadshouse was launched In July 2008 and During that time William has been voted the top 5 inspirational Single Dads in the UK by Channel5, The Trisha Godard Show, appeared on Sky News and Breakfast TV and will be having a debate in the House Of Westminster
Also Dadshouse will benefit from Legendary songwriter Don Black Famous for songs and Musicals (Diamonds are Forever, Goldfinger, Michael's Jackson's Ben) and he will write a song and donate it to Dadshouse.
Dadshouse will be giving recipes from their fantastic cooking classes along with Solidarity Sports who put the recipes Together.
Dad's House is part of Homes for Fathers and Families. "HOFF" is a project aimed at providing the same degree of support for single fathers as is available for single mothers in the UK.
Fathers who look after their children on their own have much the same difficulties as mothers. In addition they are not necessarily as naturally gifted when it comes to caring for their children, nor are they seen as needing help, for example by employers in regard to time off or flexibility in working hours. As a result, in many cases, their children suffer.
